Subject: 2nd fuse box for '85 Westy?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

We've got a 1985 Westy and have been unable to find the fuse box for the refrigerator and water pump. It's not where the campmobile manual says, which is behind the driver's seat.

The van was purchased new in Germany in 1985 and shipped to U.S., and the B2L Eberspacher gasoline heater was installed new by the dealer/factory in Germany; perhaps the fuse box was moved to accommodate the heater?

We've looked inside the cabinet around the silverware drawer, under the false bottom where the canadian water pump is located, behind the cabinet, in the storage areas to the left of the fridge, in the closet, under the back seat near the Eberspacher blower box, in both battery compartments, and near the main fuse block at the driver's front left side, all without success. I think we found one in-line fuse near the 2nd battery under the driver's seat, but since that's not easily accessible, we don't think that's what we're looking for. Next step is to start disassembling things, and are not looking forward to that.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Jim
