Subject: New Vanagon for me? maybe?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

After ten years with my trusty '85... and even though it's mechanically pretty good--it's pretty banged up and now that I live in Iowa--starting to rust. She's got 218,000 miles, new engine at 140,000 miles (factory remanunfactured 1.9L) I've been keeping my eye out for a prettier one

I've bid on and won this:

Think it will make it from Chicago back to Iowa City this weekend?

I'm wondering if i should translplant my 1.9L into this 2.1L. I've noted on the list that some think that the 1.9 is a more reliable engine (and of course, I know exactly how my engine has been maintained).
