Excellent information, Malcolm. I did search the archives first, wanting
to avoid the usual newbie asking the question that has been asked a
million times before.  I hesitate to label folks as idiots, finding it a
bit harsh and uncharitable, but in this case the fact that I didn't turn
up your post in my search suggests that the label might apply here.
