Hi Todd,

There are several good mechanics in Portland. I've been taking van (and other VWs) to Joszi's Import Car Repair for 8 years. They've been working on VWs since the late 50's and both the owner and his son drive watercooled Vanagons. They do very good work, are reasonably priced and are very trustworthy. They are on the Portland/Beaverton border in the West Slope area off Canyon Rd at 90th (surrounded by the Beaverton Lexus dealer) and their phone # is 297-3281. Hope this helps.
