I was just curious, where did the thought that Vanagons are inexpensive, or the spares to keep them functioning are cheap, and this is why perspective buyer's purchase them? ------------------ Clip ---------------------------------- It was never broken parts that got me upside down in my Westy it was Paranoid Maintenance. I just wanted to replace every part that could fail. Just take a look at what's being posted to the list now. People want to repair A/C units that never have and never will work properly. They want to add GPS, Inverters, High End sound systems with big AMPS. They want dual batteries, starter relay kits, solar panels, showers, porta potties, side tents and alloy wheels. None of that stuff has anything to do with getting the car down the road. Stan Wilder www.engineceramics.com |
