Hi all, It looks like I'm heading up to Nova Scotia in late August, and I'll be up there as long as it's not too cold for my unheated van. Well, I mean, for me. I'm looking for suggestions of places to go, places to camp, things to see, good places to bicycle, places to launch a sea kayak, things I shouldn't miss while in that region, great natural sites, foods I must try, and anything else you can suggest. I'm also looking for places to listen to Acadian music while in PEI or elsewhere, if anyone knows of them. And interesting ferries to take rather than driving. Are any of you up in that region? I'd be delighted to meet other vanagonauts (or are we vanagoners, or vanagonites?) while I'm there. I think I'll be heading out of the Washington DC area in about a week, and going north via the NYC area and Boston, then up the Maine coast. All suggestions will be welcomed!
