I agree that I have not seen any service driving a vanagon - here. But overseas, both in Europe and Africa I have seen several. Are the US vanagons less reliable for some reason? Some government mandated changes? Or is the price of US vehicles prohibitive in other countries? (obviously the sanctions on S. Africa could have had something to do with it in that country).
