Mechanically speaking, I am at that fetus stage. And then only of a single cell animal, so take this as you want. But, shoving a screw, that's connected to an electrical source, into a tank of gasoline, just doesn't sound like something that I would want to do. Maybe I'm totally wrong and hopefully someone will tell me why so that I gain a little knowledge! Jeff

I didn't really want to drop the tank, so I backed the screw out and put one about an inch longer in so that it has a chance to close the hole up. Does this sound reasonable, or do I really need to drop the tank and put some time of putty on the hole.
