Mike Nichols is on to something. I have been mostly a lurker for years. I find the advice, recommendations and tips invaluable; the banter more cordial and entertaining then any list I've ever been on; and the camaraderie outstanding. It’s partially because of this list that I also would blow-off an appointment to stop and assist a fellow Vanagoneer (in fact I did it two Fridays ago on the NYS Thruway near Utica). I would be willing to contribute a small monthly fee for this service and it makes sense that commercial users should also contribute. However, a point that may bemissed, is that a lot of the knowledgeable and experienced advice that we (amateurs) gain for free is actually coming from the same professionals that we are asking to contribute for commercial reasons. Maybe we should all be expected to contribute at the same rate, or at least this should be evaluated and factor in to the solution. Perhaps, parts sellers could be expected to contribute a little extra because they are actually using the list for commercial reasons??? …just a few of my thoughts and thanks again to y'all for this list; founders, managers and participants.
