It is kind of crazy the way this guy has the thing mounted. You ever been close to a tube amp when its on? Those things get hot! And he's got it mounted just a few inches from his head. They can also electrocute you if you touch them the wrong way. I think if I was going to put a tube amp in my van, I would pick a better spot for it, and provide a nice fan to keep it cool. Tubes do provide superior sound quality, and if you like music there's no better way to listen to it. I have a 1974 Sunn Model T tube head that I use as my guitar amp. Its in the shop right now. For the meantime I'm borrowing my friend's solid state Marshall amp. It's just not the same. Nothing compares.
