I love to hear from Matthew Pollard and the fellow that owns Road Cow, Britt Grannis. They all tell me that you can't swing a dead cat in the Northwest without hitting a VW Van or Vanagon. I've been freezing all my dead cats with the hopes that I'll be able to make a road trip to the Great Northwest and utilize my inventory of dead cats. Now that I hear about all the Vans, uses and Vanagons in Corvallis, I'll definitely route thru area and swing a few your way. OH! By the way ............. frozen dead cats make dents so remember to duck if you see me and a dead cat coming at you.

I suspect Corvallis has one of the highest Vanagons/Westfalias per capita in the United States (only 50,000 people). Heck, there are 6 Vanagons within a single block radius of my house (I own only one of those), 3 being Westys. Those numbers would be 7 and 4 if my Westy weren't parked in Portland. > > In recent years Corvallis has also been in the top three for patents per capita. Maybe there's a correlation? Didn't A. G.
