This is a good idea about the JCW Heat Shield for $27. I have hot air blowing from the front into my cabin area. Do you think this will help solve the problem?

Also, if I order this instead of Sonic-X, would this be a good material for above the transmission area that protects the rear-seat passengers from heat? My current stock padding is falling apart.

The rating says 700 degrees.

I'm still thinking of spending the extra bucks for the Sonic-X since it appears to have higher flame retardant capability. There's two fuel lines that go through the firewall near that area, one for the fuel supply and one for the return.

Regards, Craig
