Doug,

Here are some suggestions....avoid Knight & Look Campground in Rochester, MA...tons of "druggies" and other problems. Bourne Scenic Campground and Bayside Campground are ok...large and sometimes crowded. Peter's Pond Campground in Sandwich is a nice one. Horton's in Truro at the tip of the cape is good if you want to be near P-town. We've stayed at Pinewood Lodge near Plymouth a couple of times, and its nice. The former Plymouth Rock KOA is now an Outdoor World-Gateway to the Cape campground. Stayed there once..they are campground time-share places and try to sell you a spot....wasn't much fun.

If you are going to stay on the South Coast, perhaps visit the old whaling city of New Bedford, you might want to try Horseneck Beach State Campground. Wonderful beach with lots of rolling surf...

More info? E-mail me.

Ric
