Brian,

Unless you plan on using a microwave or running a Milwaukee Super Sawall I would recommend going easy on the wattage.

For supporting most modern electronics here are some of my own experiences:

P.s. I also played with a DLP projector to use in the camper. The 400W inverter easily handled it. However the heat from the projector lamp is too much for the small cabin of the Westy while the 20A current draw from the battery would not provide acceptable run time in my view.
