I use AMSOIL 15W-40 Marine Oil which has additional rust and corrosion inhibitors that prevents the formation of rust when the vehicle is in storage. My 78 Datsun 280Z has been stored in my unheated barn for 6 years and has no rust in the engine. I check it periodically to be sure. I also use it in all my seasonal equipment as well for the same reason.
