Subject: Re: Hmm . . . second temp gauge?

Michael,

Does the gauge have a brand name on it?

My 88 doublecab has an Equus digital water temp gauge mounted to the left of the steering column, on the flat part of the dash. The casing is 2" diameter and fits into a hole cut into the dash. It quit working within the past few days, and while I can find parts dealers with the Equus analog gauges, no one I have found sells the digital style like the one installed in my truck.

Mine was installed by a previous owner in Canada.

Your sounds like an aftermarket type gauge, too.
