Just like real estate, Vanagon values are all over the place (no pun intended) and highly dependent on where the vehicle is. I can't drive 5 minutes w/o running into one in the San Francisco area. I specified my opinion to Joel relative to SF as he is also from around here. The ironic thing is most folks feel West Coast cars are worth more due to relative lack of rust. West Coast folks just think they are worth less because there are to many of them here.
