One sample is worth several conjectures. I have used the same grey carpet now for several years. Other than being more soiled than it was, it has held up fine to animal barf, coffee, loud music, pasta, blood, tea, coca-cola, bug guts and various other abuses. AND should you have to replace it in the future, it is easily removable to use as a pattern for the next expendable set. The stuff is rated as outdoor carpet so since mine is 'indoors' I might expect it's UV lifetime to be longer than the remaining lifetime of a 15 yr old 190Kmi Syncro Westie. YMMV mine always does.

cheers,

Al
