E-bay is wrought with thieves. I've been taken a few times on A/C parts that were made in China and quickly failed. I've been taken on tools that quickly failed and became trash. With cars it's always buyer beware even if you buy from your own Dad. Its really dangerous to buy any car without a test drive and a good inspection. If you can't have both the test drive and a very good visual and mechanical inspection then you deserve exactly what screwing you're going to get. IF I WERE A CROOK looking to get away with cheating some poor fool ............. I'd be on E bay doing it. You better believe that E bay is the Dollar general of Cyber Marketing. Cheap crap at high prices. It's a haven for the dishonest and outright crooks. ----------------------- Even after driving and good inspections: With my 83 Westy I spent more than the purchase price within the first year of ownership. With my 76 Porsche 912e I'm fast approaching the purchase price in repairs, modifications, paint, seat covers, tires, wheels, exhaust system, stereo equipment and that is having the car only 10 months. To beat that, nothing has broke, failed, fallen off, the parts were just worn out.
