This requires some good observation when taking them apart, so's you can put them back together correctly. I've rebuilt my locks due to corrosion. What I found was that, after cleaning all of the surfaces, there are these 2 tiny springs that keep the contacts where there supposed to be. Both of these springs were toast. An easy way to replace them is to cut a spring from a ball point pen in half (fits perfectly) for replacements. I think what's happening is one of the contacts is touching, but the other is not when it's supposed to. Try it out and see what happens. Have fun!

Well after finishing my fuel pump, I got about 5 miles of trouble free driving. After parking and locking up, my passenger door will not stop pulling the lock pin down. If I unlock the passenger door, it IMMEDIATELY goes back down. If I unlock it and open it, it pulls back down the instant the door is closed. I guess something is stuck. Anybody got any experience in there?

One thing after the other..

Hey at least I don't have a car payment ;)

Jerry
