Tom, If you look closely on the compressor, you will find a belt tension adjustment bolt to the left hand side. It is perpendicular to the compressor shaft on a bracket. Before you make adjustment you should also slightly loosen the two nuts on the same bracket which the compressor is secured with. This two nuts are penpendicular to the adjustment bolt. Adjusting the tension on the compressor is a breeze compared to the alternator.
