If you are in the middle of nowhere and that area sees very little use, then a bit of dishwater may not effect much. If you camp in a heavily used area, then hundreds of campers per year are dumping thousands of gallons of grey water, then it could be a real problem. When it rains, this stuff will drain into the streams and rivers. I sure wouldn't want to campout in an area where you dumped your dirty water. Oh, and while your at it, clean up after your dog!
