After a lot of futzing around last year, listmember D. Bierli (sp?) suggested that I simply run a new ground from the water level system to the car somewhere. I tested it with alligator leads and the LEDs began working. So I git a drill and buzzed a new self-tapping screw into the nearest available sheet metal and ran a new wire to the harness. Good as new. Try this first.
