There are 4 jacking points under the van ---- just behind the front wheels and just ahead of the rear wheels. They are a perfect fit for the folding arm thingy on the stock jack. Flip out the arm ---- insert in hole and crank away. Works pretty well actually. I was equally mystified when I had my first van. Cheers, Doug

To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM cc: Subject: supplied jack (85 vanagon) -- how does it work?
How am I supposed to use the supplied jack? Unless there's something under the van that I'm supposed to put some nuts or bolts (or the pegs that were in the jack bag) through, I can't figure out how it's supposed to lift my van off the ground? Thanks! -Kyle |
