Subject: Head Removal
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Howdy, I have a question about head removal. I'm taking apart an engine that I replaced about a year ago due to a crack/leak in the cylinder head. And as I took the head off the side that was leaking the cylinder sleeves came with it too. Is this a common thing? There was also an ashy looking substance inside the head. Is this from coolant? Just curious as I'm not planning on attempting to rebuild. It's kinda cool to be able to inspect all these parts and how they all go together knowing that I can't screw anything up since I'm not doing it to my working engine. TIA, Paul Rogers 85 Westy Weekender Whatever it is
