I finally got that awning (BusDepot accidentally lost my order for a while). I have to admit I was disappointed by the awning (why in a bit). I haven't used it with my camper yet and definitely not in the rain.

Now to the disappointing aspects of the awning. I've had dome tents before and I figured this would be similar. Instead, the design seems very clunky with lots of little parts (in short, NOT elegantly designed). Functional, to be sure, but I was expecting something more elegant.

One of these days, maybe I'll get together with a tent maker and talk over my ideas for an elegant awning similar to this....(or not).

It does roll up into a nice compact sack. And it is functional and gives welcome shade (I needed the shade when I was working on my black Corrado recently)
