Just bring along a California bear lover who thinks that he can communicate with them. They will be too busy dining on him to bother your food.

Ok, that was bad. Bad Mark, no donut.

But seriously that story does serve as a reminder to us all that no matter how familiar bears become with us, they are still wild animals to be treated with respect.
