I posted a month ago and am posting again in hopes of getting help in
diagnosing this problem. I have 1987 Westy GL and when we bought it we were
told it sometimes dies when its not fully warmed up. We discovered this to
be the case but the price was worth and now we're trying to get to the
bottom of this.

When it has been sitting overnight even after warming up for 5 minutes it
will still intermittently die. It usually dies at a stop light and such.
The engine will die and won't start for up to a minute. Once warmed up for
the rest of the day it won't have this problem. Which happened probably
less than 20% of the time when its started cold.

I had the coolant temp sensor and the idle stabilizer valve checked and
still it had this problem. I've also check the wiring and it all seems to
be in order with no wear or moisture.

Any thoughts? I would really appreciate it.
