i've been test driving a 1.9 automatic van today with a new engine.  i am
hearing a squeaky sound that sounds kind of like a running wheel for a
mouse that could use some oil.  its more noticeable while driving with the
engine cover closed.  it sort of sounds like it is coming from the trans
or torque converter.  i think i hear it more under acceleration then it
declines under deceleration but is still there even at idle.  does any one
have ideas what it might be?
