<font size="+1">I think this is only true for the Syncro gearied 5spd.<br>
I have the SA 094 5spd fitted to 2wd Vanagons and I use first every
time I start out.<br>
It is a tiny bit lower than the 4spd, but hardly enough to notice.<br>
