Word to the wise. Be double damn careful when you put your drum back on after any brake work. I tweaked the bejeezus out of mine after putting it on crooked and then tightening the lugnuts down on the wheel. No drum available on a sunday in Atlanta, so I took it to pep boys and had them turn it as best they could since I had to hit the road. It's better, but i gotta replace it. Tell you what, Vanagon parts are a hell of a lot easier to get on the west coast. NAPA has a huge supply center in Atlanta and they didn't even have a drum there. I sure do get a lot of funny looks and interested comments in the southeast with my Syncro. Took it out on the sand at Carolina Beach and had about ten different conversations with people who had never seen one before. Be careful with yer freakin brakes. Dixon
