I'm with Ron on this one. I have South African big brake rotors on my van.
They rust if they're sitting out for one rainy night. But that doesn't mean it's
deep rust or particularly bad for the rotors. its' surface rust and as soon
as you apply the brake once it's rubbed off.
That's what cast iron/steel rotors do. Nearly all will rust quickly.
