Don't overfuse a circuit!!! Fuses are placed in circuits to protect wiring, not components. They are sized based on the gauge of wire used in the circuit; the gauge of wire used in the circuit is based on the estimated current draw of the circuit when it was designed. If you chose to install a larger fuse, you also need to upgrade the wiring in a particular circuit or risk melting the wire insulation and starting a fire. My $.02, YMMV.
