With the 6.5" woofers in the bench seat enclosure you definitely don't need a subwoofer unless you want people to hear you are coming a block away. I installed the same MB Quart 3-way into a friend's Westy and took out the 15" subwoofer preexisted. He was very please how much more balanced the system sounds across the spectrum.

I have 6.5's in the same location as you and a 10" sub under the rear bench. In my opinion, the sub is unnecessary, and the $$$ to gains isn't really worth it. And i even listen to rap :-) -Damon --- "Brian T." <nobleman36@YAHOO.COM> wrote: > I have these same speakers in the lower portion of > my > doors and love'm! > > I am working on fleshing out my system too & hope to > have an 8" sub under the bed and a pair of 5" JBLs > in > the over seat face in the back soon too.
