I don't seem to be able keep up with repairs this year. Still waiting on parts for the last one and here comes another. It's an 88GL and the problem this time is stiff steering. It happened suddenly, that’s to say it didn't gradually get worse. Got in the van one day and there it was. I didn't hit anything and it's not an alignment problem (I think - no recent potholes). The problem is that as I turn the steering wheel, it gets stiff and resists quite firmly. It's not consistent and I seem to hit firmer spots and then it lessens and them stiffer again as I continue to turn the wheel. No problem going straight though. So where do I begin to look. What is the most likely suspect? Thanks in advance. Bill H. 88 GL
