The condensation from the A/C in my '85 Westy just stopped draining properly. After running the A/C this week I discovered water running out from the side panel and saturating the rear cushion as well as the insulation behind the right rear panel. My problem is I cannot find where the drain tube is supposed to go. I pulled out the existing tube, which was about 4" long and went into the side panel just behind the rear side window. Some messages in the archive suggest the drain should go out the rear vent, but there is no drain tube there and no opening the tube could go through. I tried pushing through wires but no success, I could not see where they would come out. Does anyone know how to replace this tube? It is an after market unit I had the dealer install when I bought the van new in '85. This is the first problem I have had with it. Thanks for any suggestions.. Dave Boan Easton, MD '85 Westy |
