Now, if I could just get this without the faucet, pump, rechargable batteries, propane adapter, 5-gallon container and could vent it to the outside of my westy, I'd take it. Doesn't anyone make a very small vented unit? My parents' camper has a 6 or 7 gallon gas water heater and it's absolutely great, but it's huge for a vanagon. I remember traveling in Wales once where the inn I was staying in had slim, flat gas-powered water heater panels that mounted inline with shower and sink and heated anything that came though them. They were about the size of a coffee-table book and the hot water was plumbed to go through them. They didn't use a water reservoir at all. I wonder if anyone makes something similar, but smaller than home-sized?
