I found the spec for the Danfoss BD35F compressor. It is quite detailed. I would love to get one in my hand and play with it. http://www.rparts.com/Catalog/Major_Components/compressors/Danfoss/bd35. pdf http://www.novakool.com/technic/danfoss2.htm Having said that I am not about to give up on my Dometic quite yet as it always work fine for me. It cools my beers faster than I can drink them. In 15 years I only have to pull it once to replace he cooling fan. I use it in every trip I made and I never need to keep the vehicle very level. With it only pulling 100mA for the cooling fan is a luxury for the battery longevity standpoint. BTW, have you notice that the Camper Supplemental Manual says that the maximum inclination of the vehicle should not exceed +/- 8 degrees. This is a huge range for refrigerator. An angle most vehicle cannot climb. I interpret it to mean fore/aft but not side to side.

I don't know if any of them will fit into the space. You may be interested in constructing your own enclosure and buy the Danfoss FD35F compressor which most of these refrigerators are built with. Here is a site that have much of this DIY information. http://www.kollmann-marine.com Here is the page where the did some performance test over the course of 24 hrs at 3500rpm and it consumed 49.2 Ahr with 11 hours of run time and cycles 90 times. It is not clear what the test condition is or the size of the box. I am sure to run a fridge under 2cu ft the total amp hours should be significantly less if the fridge is well insulated and you don't open the door too frequently. http://www.kollmann-marine.com/test8.html The Isotherm 2006 uses such compressor. I remember seeing a similar dc compressor at West Marine 4-5 years ago.

I'd be more interested in the top load http://www.indelmarineusa.com/toploaded.htm and put it where the water tank & elect storage cabinetts are and put the water tank in where the fridge is now. Top loaders are more efficient (I have been told). M
