Ron,

From what I know they are definitely different. Not a good idea to use the bolts from the steel wheel on the Alloy.

Hey Y'all, I just jacked up the '87 Westy, pumped to mount my new (to me) factory alloy wheels when I had a horrible thought-do the stock 14" steel & alloy wheels use the same lug bolts?? I don't want to take a chance on screwing something up if the head taper or something is different. I'm waiting for a HALT or GO AHEAD! from the immense wisdom of the list. Thanks, Ron Komoroski
