Thank you all for your input on the 90 vanagon price and on syncro vs. not. What a friendly list! The 90 I'm looking at for $13,900 is in Denver. I live in Santa Fe, NM. JDB Imports is the dealer selling it. Nothing has been showing up in my neck of the woods, so I've been reading listings between here and CA everyday for a month or so, including ebay, cars.com, and vw westfalia owners site. It's really overwhelming to me shopping long distance for a vehicle. Denver works the best for me, because it's relatively close, but also because Larry at Blazer is helping me out with inspections, and I have a friend there who can eyeball it.

My current thinking is to go with the later model RWD for now, and then look into a syncro later when I'm a bit more savvy and I'm more certain that's what I want. I await the results of the inspection on the 90 tomorrow morning.

Is the white more coveted just because of reflecting heat?

Molly
