Well i decided to pop the cap and look at the rotor and such for the 84 retro van with now just 20,010 miles. thinking this is a good maintenance interval you know 20 years/ 20,000 miles. i was in the process of R/R the fuel filter and all the fuel lines due to age. (BTW how do you get to the cross over fuel lines on the top of the fuel tank? do you need to pull the filler neck 1st then the tank? so back to the tune up stuff. this van still had the original cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter etc.etc.etc. till last night that is. the wire ends were crusty but came off with no problem and was housing for many spider populations over the years. the service ends of the original plugs were still looking good but the corrosion around the plug was ugly so out they came. the air filter is original also so thats on my shopping list. i should have just known to pick one up for good measure. so i guess im good for another 20 years. c-ya Jonce
