Subject: Re: dealer cost on coolant
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Well I made it by the dealer saturday morning and said I needed some G11 blue coolant. The response I got was "We don't have any". I was a little shocked, the guy said all 98 and up cars take the pink stuff. I said what about the older cars? He said you could still order it if you wanted to, but the dealers were no longer going to stock it.

He went to check in the back to make sure and a mechanic followed him back with a half full oily bottle of blue coolant they said I could have. They also had one last unopened bottle they sold me. They wanted over $20, but I got him to give it to me at "cost" which they claimed to be $13.81, with tax it was $14.72. So not too bad for 1.5 gallons of coolant, but it really sucks if none of the dealers are going to carry it anymore.

Nathan
