Hi All,

I am the new owner of an 87 Wolfsburg. The engine is blown and I bought it for the tranny, my 88 GL is OOC. It (the 87) appears in good condition except for a few dents and bruises. My original plan is to take the tranny and part out the rest (less the parts I use on my 90 GL/Carat-a-version). What's the lists opinion on this plan (parting out the 87, maybe moving the engine from the 88 GL to the 87, etc.......

What is the difference between a wolfy and a carat? ;

And which is worth more an 87 wolfy 4 spd pwr windows vs. 88 GL 4 spd pwr windows & cruise?

TIA

Jere

90 GL/Carat-a-version (308K miles)

88 GL
