Subject: mystery temp guage problem to solve
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello!

I just purchased a very nice 1985 gauge cluster with tach for my 1985 Vanagon.

Everything works well (tach, fuel gauge sweep, temp sweep) with the exception of a constantly blinking temp LED in the temp gauge.

The original gauge LED blinks for a second or two the light goes out, so I'm thinking the sender is fine and the wiring is fine. Do these gauges bite the dust often/easily? The package just made a trip cross country via USPS & I'm thinking it may have taken a jolt and I will probably just need to replace the gauge.

What say the masses :-)

Brian
