Hi Joe,

We didn't stay in Zion but that area is gorgeous. Coming in on the East
entrance is spectacular.

While there, shuttle busses run constantly which makes for easy, no hassle
movement from one hike or spot to another. As Ryan mentioned, the Virgin
river is shallow (at least it was when we visited there a few weeks ago) but
that makes it very small-kid-friendly, and older kids always make do.
