Tomorrow I will be taking out one or more of my Westy fridges for a thorough servicing. I invite other Socal Westy owners with fridges that work poorly or that may need burner chamber cleaning to come over and do theirs too. It is not as hard as people fear and can turn what some use as a storage cabinet back into a real fridge.I have done this to many Westys with fridges that don't work well. Usually a cleaning takes care of the problems or at least greatly improves the propane operation. We will also check that the propane pressure regulators are set to the proper pressure. This is one cause for Westy fridges that won't cool well on propane. We will also test the temp switch that runs the fridge fan. The fan must cycle on and off or cooling will be meager on warm days.

Anyone interested, we start at 10 am. Let me know by p-mail and I will give directions.
