Starting in 85 models there is no longer any electrical connection between the two brake pressure switches and the warning light on the dash. When they added the float switch to the brake fluid cap for a fluid level warning they deleted the pressure switch warning. The pressure switches changed too, with the later switches only having 2 connections instead of 3.

We have checked the switch at the brake fluid reservoir and parking brake. Both check out OK, and there doesn't seem to be any loss in brake performance. Any ideas why the light is on? >> Thanks >> Finn Runyon >> 87 Westy Pooh >> 89 Westy Roo >> >
