Our Vanagons cost way more than that when new. Like our vans, if you've ever played through a Neumann and compared it to other, cheaper mikes, you'd understand its value . . . somewhat. They are really, really good mikes, but I don't know if I'd invest in one if I wasn't either a professional sound engineer or had a full-time band. Likewise, I wouldn't invest everything I do in my van if it wasn't the perfect vehicle for festival camping.

We all make choices about the quality/price of things in our lives... Marc
