100% agree.

I've worked in front of them many times. OTOH, on one project the producer-engineer got a great sound from a (IIRC) 57 using mic emulation software, even for my solo bits. This being for bass trombone.

In my wildest dreams, thought it would be fun to do a get back to nature recording and track either in my Westy and-or near it (what a great write off that would make) But I wouldn't use a Neumann! Ha! I have an Apex that would "do".
