Subject: A Note To The Kid In The Cherry Red 'Tuner'

This is for the young man in the cherry red 'tuner' that was driving about a mile of the same road I was driving about half an hour ago. We went through five intersections with stop lights. Right? And when you got to each of those intersections the light was red. Right? And I pulled up next to you after you had been stopped for several seconds. Right? And as the light turned green you peeled out and shot down the road only to have to slam on the brakes at the next red light. Right? But did you notice that I only had to slow down a little and never had to stop for the red light because I got there just as the light turned green? You just didn't realize (or were to dumb to catch on, whatever applies) that the traffic lights along that arterial are sequenced so that if you travel at the speed limit they will turn green just before you get there! We started off side by side and ended up side by side. So thanks for the entertainment and I was glad to travel with you and watch you get worse gas mileage than my '90 Westy with auto tranny.
